^Lot 470 Navy Arms 1866 SRC .44-40 Win #32160

Italian made "Little Bighorn Commemorative" replica of the Winchester 1866 lever action saddle ring carbine (SRC) chambered in .44-40 Winchester, proof dated "AC" for 1977. Imported by Navy Arms, Ridgefield NJ. It features a blued finish, brass frame with scroll, an Indian head, and the years 1876 and 1976 engraved on it. Other hardware includes a smooth brass buttplate, 19" barrel, smooth walnut forend, straight wristed shoulder stock, decorative tacks in furniture, smooth curved trigger, serrated hammer spur, blade front sight, and folding rear sights. Bore is dirty, but appears to have strong rifling. The rifle retains approximately 98% finish with very minor handling losses. Brass is very good with a few scratches. This firearm was covered with oil, or CLP from storage, and it has hardened. The wood furniture is near excellent, with some dents and other handling marks mostly on the stock.
